Meet Calvin! Calvin is a 6-8 month Plott Hound mix who came to the shelter as a stray with Caleb, another hound mix puppy.

Although we don't know much about their history, it is clear that both Caleb and Calvin were undersocialized in their previous home. Because of this, Calvin will require a loving home that is able to provide him with the structure, confidence building, and obedience training he needs. His new owner should have experience with undersocialized dogs and/or be willing to work closely with a trainer to provide Calvin with the confidence and social skills he needs to be successful in life.
Calvin gets along well with other dogs, especially his buddy, Caleb! He would prefer a new home with another dog to help him learn your daily routines and to boost his confidence.
