Meet Luna
*I am currently being fostered and I am not at the shelter. Please call the shelter to make an appointment to meet me**
Hello there, I bet when you meet me you could never guess I am between 11 and 13 years young but I am. Have you ever felt like you feel and act much younger than your license says well that is me. I love to run and play with toys. If you have a ball I will be your best friend. I never thought I would be looking for a new home at my age but my owner had a stretch of bad luck and could no longer take care of me. I did not like being in the kennel at the shelter so I have been fostered at a staff member's home. In my foster home there are other dogs (but I would do best as the only dog) because I have not lived with other dogs most of my life. I have gotten along well with many dogs in my foster home and enjoy going on long hikes in the woods with both big and small dogs but would rather be the only dog in the home.. I am house trained but will need to learn the rules of your home before I will thoroughly understand. Riding in the car is one of my favorite things to do. No one will be able to sneak up on your house without me letting you know with an alarm bark. I enjoy meeting lots of new people both young and old. Even though I had not lived with cats before I don't seem to mind them in my foster home. I am the kind of dog that prefers a walk around the block over running in a fenced in yard. Would you consider adopting an older girl who is young at heart? If you would like to meet me please call the shelter at 978-283-6055 ex 10 to make an appointment because I will not always be at the shelter. IMPORTANT: Before making the trip to visit the shelter we strongly recommend checking our website for information on adoption policies and procedures. Please understand that because we are a busy place and because so many animals need our care and attention, adoptions are on a first come basis and no animal will be put on hold. To inquire about a pet's availability or for more information, we encourage you to visit our shelter in person. Due to the high volume of interest, email and phone inquiries may not be returned on a daily basis. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to your visit! www.capeannanimalaid.org 978-283-6055 ex 10 for reception desk
