Say hello to Joy!
This beautiful girl is about 5 years old. You would never know by that sweet face that she had a horrible life before coming to Purple Paws. She had been chained outside all of her life with enough room to get into a dog house. Her "owner" would get drunk and come outside and beat her with a stick or pipe. We we're sick when we heard her story so of course we brought her in!
Despite her abuse, this girl is the sweetest thing and is great with dogs, cats and kids. She is almost fully house trained. Joy LOVES car rides and walks. Life is an adventure for this sweet girl and she definitely does not act like a 5 year old.
