Willie - Needs a Foster! Rat Terrier Mix League City, TX

Hi, I'm Willie one really loving dog. My estimated DOB is 2/1/2011 so I'm at the perfect age to be someone's best friend and to sit on the couch and enjoy a good movie. I was re-homed to my foster, but due to an increased work load, she's just too busy and can't take the time that I need. I weigh around 15 pounds and love to sit on laps and burrow under a blanket, just like a cat! My foster says I'm so good, half the time she doesn't even know I'm there I'm so quiet. I live fine with other dogs but my foster doesn't have any cats or children so she doesn't know how I would do around them. I'm not showing any aggression, so I may be OK with cats with the proper introductions. I'm presently crated at night, and when my foster is out. It seems like forever until she returns home so we can be together. I've had a few accidents in the house but if someone was home more often to let me out in my new fenced-in yard, I bet I could get all this training down pat. I walk great on a leash, so daily walks would be fun and I know a few commands but I'm willing to learn more. I'm not a big barker, but I do let you know if something is amiss. If you're that family that is looking for a best pal who will appreciate all the attention you will give me, we need to have a meet and greet at Petco!!

Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home.

Adoption fee for this dog is $175.

Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Clear Lake Petco, 2410 Bay Area Boulevard. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. Since all of our dogs are in foster homes, an individual dog may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule.
