Meet Mia

It does not matter what you want to call it. Yin and Yang? Namaste? Feng Shui? Life is about a balance of all things and Mia is a girl that brings the best in balance between all of the elements of being a great family dog which essentially makes her the total package! Mia is a hound mixed with lab and, again as we have said, brings the best balance of both. Wait! We forgot. We wanted to tell you first about her coat ...really... her coat folks. There is nary a black dog at the farm who literally glistens in the sun like Mia! She is sleek and shiny and spectacular and beautiful! Ok, we can move on from the coat now. Mia is about a year old and weighs in at 40 lbs as is sleek, fast and super athletic. She had huge, droopy, soft as butter hound ears but the eyes and a mind of a sharp tack. Mia is smart and eager to please, as well as highly food motivated, making her the best candidate for most anything you can imagine. Training class? Would love it and earn high honors. Running partner? Ya betcha, she can keep up! Mia mixes a confidence and ability to stand on her own and speak for herself with a laid back style that leads her to find friends in pretty much any dog she might meet. She hankers most strongly for connection with her people and will be more loyal than the day is long. She would adore having another dog in the home and would be a great companion to family members of any age, just as long as there is lots of love to give and receive. Crate trained? Absolutely! Ready to roll out those gates tomorrow with you? A big 10 4! Girlfriend is ready to ring in the new year with peeps who see the gorgeous girl volunteers simply adore!

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.

Our Adoption Form can be completed online https://savinggracenc.org/how-to-adopt/. Please visit our new website https://savinggracenc.org

An Adoption Form is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home.

Sending an Adoption Form does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes.

If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care for these wonderful dogs awaiting new homes, please visit https://savinggracenc.org/giving/

Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
