Wilbur Cocker Spaniel Mix West Windsor, NJ

Wilbur is a cocker spaniel mix and weighs 24.2#.
He is six years old and is up-to-date on all vaccinations
including distemper combo, rabies and bordetella.
He has been wormed.
Wilbur is neutered and microchipped.
He is heartworm negative and takes monthly heartworm preventative.
He is also Lyme negative.
Flea and tick preventative is administered monthly.
Wilbur is leash trained and housebroken.
Someone either kept him in crate a lot or never had him in a crate.
When he came to us he drooled during the night and was miserable.
He sleeps in his crate with the door open.
He cruises the entire shelter at night and
Is totally trustworthy.
He came to APAW with long flowing fur but was recently given a crew cut for the warm days ahead.
He Is very happy he was groomed and it shows.
Wilbur entertains himself when the other dogs aren't interested in playing.
He likes to cruise and sniff his surroundings.
Wilbur is well behaved and polite.
He does not destroy plush toys or his bed.
His main diet is high quality, dry adult food. Wet food is not served.
American rawhide satisfies his normal urge to chew.
Raw carrots are a healthy treat he thoroughly enjoys.
Red Barn bully slices are his favorite rawhide treat.
When he is not investigating various play areas Wilbur will gladly sit by your side and chill out for as long as he is welcome.
He also likes to cuddle on any available lap
but politely waits to be invited before jumping up.
Wilbur would be very happy as an only pet with play dates.
A visible, secure, fenced yard is required.
