Holly Basset Hound & Retriever Mix West Allis, WI

Holly is an extremely sweet dog! She has a loving lab personality and looks, with the shorter legs of a basset. She is great with every person that she's met, and I believe she would make a good only dog for someone that is concerned about a dog being left without a second dog companion. However, I have 3 dogs and she does get along well with them. She does not seek out my dogs to play, but definitely seeks out human interaction. She knows the basic commands, is potty trained, and loves her toys and ball. She has done well with kids that have come to visit her pups, she rarely tries to jump up.

At present, if you are interested in her you get the added bonus of meeting her pups - Acer, Andromeda, Barberry, Callicarpa, Lilac, Linnaea, Laurel, Magnolia, & Oleander (the bush puppies)

Adoption fee: $425.00

Adoption fees for all dogs/puppies include a $50 refundable training deposit. Complete your basic training program and provide a copy of the certificate within 4 months (120 days) of adoption and we will refund $50 of the original adoption fee.

All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. As required by Wisconsin Act 90, all dogs will have received a veterinarian exam (CVI) within the past 30 days.

Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. Applications and Adoption Rules can be found on our website, on the "HOW TO ADOPT" tab. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including: contact with your veterinarian and completion of a home visit. Please be sure to include the contact information for your vet as we will call. If your vet requires an information release, please be sure to contact them as soon as you submit your application. We are a group of volunteers with families and jobs, so please be patient and allow a few days for our response.
