PLEASE READ THIS WHOLE SECTION! ALL OF OUR DOGS ARE BEING FOSTERED IN NORTH MISSISSIPPI. They will be transported north after adoption process is complete and dogs/puppies are ready for travel. We currently adopt to NY, NJ, NH, CT, PA, MD, VA.

This litter of puppies was born to a momma dog who has at least two litters a year on the road where one of our volunteers lives....She had to drive by them every day, and three days in a row she saw one hit and killed in the road. Finally, she stopped at the house and asked the owner if she could have the puppies. He agreed. He also agreed to let Project Paws spay the momma dog, as he wanted to keep her but said he couldn't afford to have her fixed.

We took in the pups and never, ever, ever, in all our years of rescue, have we seen pups so covered in FLEAS. We treated them and a couple of hours later, you could literally sweep the fleas into an appreciable pile. Our vet said that in another day, the pups would have been so anemic from fleas and worms they likely would have died. But. Now they are all healthy and happy and NO FLEAS! They are all spayed and neutered and as sassy and cute as they can be! We just adore these babies! They are all ready for their new families, never to be mistreated again. Help them bust out of Mississippi and get on to a better life!
