Porter is a darling Petit Bassett Griffon Vendeen mix who was born in summer of 2017. He is a happy, healthy fellow who loves other dogs his size and people, too! Porter recently came to us from a rural SW VA shelter where he had been found as a stray. We believe that he would make an excellent addition to most homes.
Porter is in good health, neutered, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations. He has tested negative for heartworms.
CARE Rescue is foster-base rescue located in Richmond, VA. We do not have a facility for you to come to meet animals at. You must visit our weekly adoption stand (calendar on our website) to meet the adoptable dogs. Out of area adoptions can only be facilitated when we are able to find a volunteer to do a home visit for us and when the potential adopter already has a veterinary reference.
