Kira German Shepherd Dog Mix Corvallis, OR

Hi, my name is Kira. I’m a 13 y/o Shepherd mix who LOVES to cuddle with you on the couch, the bed, anywhere I get to be close to you. I love to run and play, and chew on bones. My zoomies make my foster mom laugh. You wouldn’t know I was a senior!

I did not have a good start to life, and didn’t get socialized well, so I’m still learning how to communicate and make friends. I have no problems with cats, but I’m jealous of my owners attention. I want to be friends with other dogs, but I growl and snap and don’t know how to play. I’ve learned to be friends with my current foster sister (a black lab) but I still struggle when there is food around. I will do best as the only dog in a home, and will likely benefit from some more socialization training.

I was pretty starved when I came to my new home, but I’m doing so much better! All my labs came back normal, and I’m a fully vaccinated and healthy girl ready for my forever home.
