Meet Mazie

Mazie!! She is a bundle of energy and fun! Mazie is a 1.5 year old American Staffordshire Terrier mix with so much love to give! She is crate trained, house broken, and her favorite thing to do is get belly rubs! Mazie would do best with a family that has time every day to take her for a long walk or run, she loves to go on outings to meet new people and 4 legged friends.. after her adventure she is one of the best snugglers around. She is very excitable and sometimes needs to be reminded of her manners.. she loves to know when she is being a good girl! Mazie loves to carry toys around and show them off to everyone she can find.. you know when she is excited because she will show you her gorgeous smile! Mazie is truly one of a kind- this sweet girl cannot wait to find her forever home!

Everything we love about her breeds and SO much more, that is our Maize! At about a year and a half old, Maize is likely mostly American Staffordshire Terrier with maybe a bit o lab mixed in and boy does she excel at being a best friend, snuggle buddy, companion and overall goofball such that she is kinda irresistible! Maize is about 55 lbs. of full grown fun and love. Since arriving at the farm, she has not batted an eye at our routine, settling in or making friends with all 2 and 4 legged creatures. She is wonderful in a crate and clearly well versed in the use of the correct ladies room. Maize has shown herself as versatile playmate as she can be very gentle with the smaller and younger pups but can hold her own with same age and older peers who do not mind a little romp, roll and wrestle as well. Did we mention her absolutely amazing smile?? Oh wait, we do not have to because you can see if for yourself in her picture along side with one of the most priceless pouty faces that would have us handing our life savings over to her were she to ask. Maize would do well with other dogs and would be fine solo. She would adore some children of her own and most of all wishes for a family that will go on regular walks and adventurous outings while fully taking advantage of her total adoration and high snuggle quotient that will make you wonder why you never sought out her breed up until this point. You are totally going to think it a horrible pity that no one else will know the joys of a pittie like you and Maize!

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.

An Adoption Form is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home.

Sending an Adoption Form does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes.

If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care for these wonderful dogs awaiting new homes, please visit https://savinggracenc.org/giving/

Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
