Pepsi Vizsla Mix Levelland, TX

PEPSI is a young female Vizsla mix. We think she is around 6 to 7 months old. She is severely underweight at about 20 lbs. As she matures and reaches a healthier weight, she should come close to doubling her present weight. Pepsi was dumped in the country. She is very needy and clingy right now. She lives to be held and petted. She will walk some on a leash, but prefers to be carried. She is good with other dogs and would probably be good with cats. Very young children might make her nervous but she should be fine in a family with older children. We would like to see her be a mostly inside dog. She will need lots of attention, at least at first, and will form a strong bond with the people who spend time with her.
Pepsi has actually filled out some in the time she has been at the shelter. It would be great if she could continue gaining in a new forever home. She will be a beautiful dog once she reaches her ideal weight.

The shelter is generally open from 9 AM till noon 7 days a week but arrangements can be made to see the dogs and cats at other times of the day. All our dogs are vaccinated for Parvo, distemper, Bordetella (kennel cough) and most other common dog diseases. We do not vaccinate them for Rabies. There is no adoption fee, but the adopter will be responsible for having the dog spayed or neutered and for the Rabies shot.
