Tea ~ ADOPTED! Shetland Sheepdog / Sheltie Chapel Hill, TN

*RECENT ARRIVAL.*.....Meet Mr. "Tea", a wonderfully vibrant 11 yr old sable & white purebred Sheltie who had to be shaved down due to the condition of his coat but quite handsome in full coat (his mother was shipped over from Germany). Owner surrender at absolutely NO fault of his own who only knew life outdoors with no other dogs to play/bond with :( Not anymore.....he is co-existing just fine with all of mine and boy has he learned to love the comfort of air-conditioning! He has had two homes in his lifetime and both kept him outdoors. He truly is the most well-behaved fella and just has a happy personality and minds very well.....you would never guess his age upon meeting him. He is heartworm positive and undergoing treatment at this time otherwise healthy, vetted and full of life but unfortunately still intact so we will cross that bridge post heartworm treatment and make a decision to neuter due to his age. He enjoys walks and riding in the car. Although all of our rescues are intended to be indoor pets with outdoor privileges, a fenced yard is required!
