JLo Foxhound Mix Duart, ON

JLo was one of 5 puppies born to Saffron on April 30th. They are Foxhound mixes. Mommy Saffron was pulled from a high kill shelter already pregnant. She was surrendered to the shelter along with a male and two other who were also pregnant. The owner had kept them all in the same pen and of course, they all got pregnant. He surrendered them because they all kept escaping the pen. The father of these pups has since been adopted and the other two females went to other rescues.

JLo is so much like her sister LaBelle in every way. She loves to be cuddled and gives lots of kisses. She is sweet and loving. She is playful and curious. She has a medium length hair coat. We expect this litter to reach up to 50lbs making them medium breed dogs. On August 25, , she weighed in at 29lbs. JLo is more of a follower than a leader. She waits for her sisters to make the first move. She is curious and smart. JLo is crated st night and when her foster parents ts are not home. She is both paper trained and house broken.

All of these puppies have been dewormed every two weeks since birth. They are eating Royal Canin Medium Breed Puppy food. The litter has had their first, second and third set of vaccines including Bordetella and Leptospirosis. They are also on heartworm and flea prevention. This breed mix is loving gentle and will make wonderful family pets.

A fully fenced yard and a Veterinarian history of compliance is mandatory in order to apply for JLo.
