Adorable as they are, DOODLES ARE NOT FOR EVERYONE. READ MORE ABOUT RAVEN

Raven, is a beautiful, sweet and loving, 7 month old first generation Labradoodle puppy surrendered to DRC along with her litter mate sister due to allergies. Their former owner purchased the girls from a horrible pet store. She felt in effect, that she was rescuing them because the store manager told her the girls had grown too large and too old while in the store to still be considered easily "sellable." As it is with all litter mates, the sisters are a bit too attached to each other to focus completely on their ongoing training and their relationship with their humans. This is the main reason that we are separating them.

Raven's foster mom reports that she and her sister Cocoa have exceptional personalities and temperaments. Raven is a bit bolder and braver than her sister. Shy when first introduced to strangers, Raven warms up quickly. She is an extremely smart, intelligent, emotionally intuitive girl who so wants to please and attach to her person/peeps. She is crate trained but is also accustomed to being allowed on furniture. There is nothing she loves more than spooning on the bed. Expect lots of snuggle time and tons of kisses from this lovely angel if you are the lucky adopter. Both girls are light shedders.

Raven is a very well behaved little girl who just needs patience and some practice with her leash, obedience training and potty manners.

She will need another resident dog(s) for companionship and an active, dog-savvy, ADULY ONLY home with a yard surrounded by a physical fence at least 4 feet in height and where someone is around for at least part of the day. She is spayed, UTD on all shots and preventatives. Raven will be a wonderful addition the right family.

You must be prepared for your dog to be an inside member of your family.
In most cases, a PHYSICAL FENCE IS REQUIRED in order to be considered for a DRC rescue doodle.

DRC Adoption donations typically range from: $300 - $600 and vary according to the age, health, temperament and location of each dog. Every doodle is an individual and every doodle has his/her own specific needs and requirements. Adopters are selected based on compatibility, NOT on a "first come, first serve basis. At no time does DRC ever put the desires of applicants before or above the needs and requirements of rescue doodles in our program.
