Talk about a head-turner! Meet Ficus, a smiley 5-year-old, 16-pound Dachshund-mix who sports one of the most unique-colored merle coats we’ve ever seen! With this kind of wow factor, don’t expect to walk down the street without people stopping you!

This affable fella is a true gentleman. Friendly to all other dogs and to humans of every age, Ficus is great on a leash, is quiet both inside and outside the home, and is happiest when near his peeps. He is housebroken, pad-trained and doesn’t mind hanging out in his crate when home alone.

Ficus is not terribly interested in toys or treats, but offer him a gentle massage or a pet on the head, and he’s yours for the duration! He is neither hyper nor lazy. His energy level falls squarely within the mid-range and he pretty much just goes with the flow. He’s just as easy-peasy as they come. And the perfect size for any kind of adventure!
