Meet Butter Bean! Guard yourself because this kitten is the heart-stealer. She is sweet, shy, and the smallest of the litter. Did we mention she is ADORABLE?! Little Butter started out scared of life in a high-kill shelter where she and her family were at risk of euthanasia. She has blossomed in her foster home and is learning to join the others in play and frolicking about the house. She can sometimes live up to the “scaredy cat” stereotype but she is just dramatic and feels better when you hold her safe and snug. She even has started to climb up for cuddles! Butter is litterbox trained and she has been around other cats and dogs. Like any cat or kitten, she would love scratching posts and frequently trimmed nails to deter her from scratching anything she’s not supposed to. Butter Bean is a Tortoiseshell and was born approximately 4-1-18. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and dewormed. Adoption fee is $150 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled after your application has been approved. Since all of our pets are in foster homes and not a facility, we hold adoption appointments once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday, during scheduled time period. We need ALL family members or those living within your home, to be present for an appointment. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference and home ownership, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records.
