Hi. My name is Annie. I am approximately 5 years old. I am playful and fun. I weigh around 35 pounds. I belonged to two older people that had to leave their home for a nursing home. I had been put outside for the last year I was with them. I did not interact with people much during that time. I am now scared of most people, but with time and patience, you can earn my trust. And then you'll see the sweet girl that I am. I am house-trained and sleep peacefully in a crate. I do prefer my bedtime snack being placed in my crate though, for encouragement to enter! I can be food and toy aggressive so therefore a home with teens or older children only. This bad habit is getting better over time, since being with my foster mom. I ignore the cats and do get along with some other dogs. I would have to say an alpha female may not be my best of friends. Laid back males would be best. I love to play ball. I am not your average dog as I am scared of all new people, situations and things. I tend to want to protect myself when I am scared so I need someone understanding, patient and experienced.
