Introducing the furry fella of your dreams! Treat motivated, dark and handsome CHEROKEE! Once he gets to know you this fella enjoys belly rubs! His hobbies include going for walks and playing in our yard! Staff has found that he looves toys with LOTS of squeakers! Or honestly most any stuffy toy! Very slow introductions are best! Staff feels an Akita experienced, firm consistent owner would be best! This fella will be very loyal once he gets to know you! Cherokee has a typical Akita personality and does not show well in his kennel! Please visit with Cherokee in the play yard where he shines! Cherokee will benefit from time to settle in his new home before going out socializing and will need a refresher on basic training and potty etiquette (may have been an outside dog before arriving as a stray). Cherokee does have child restrictions (he is big and clumsy). Staff feels he would thrive best as the only pet in the family. Cherokee is a 4 year old male Akita/Labrador Retriever blend!
