Meet WILBUR

Wilbur, Wilbur, Wilbur! It’s just a fun name to say. This little Wilbur is about as joyful as his name too. He is a sweet puppy who loves to be cuddled, carried, or up for a stuffed animal to carry around. He’s got funny expressions that go with each mood. Wilbur has two speeds - on and off. He is happily playing, running around with his littermate, tumbling, grabbing toys and then he’s gone in a flash…where oh, where could Wilbur be. You will probably find him completely crashed out and sleeping in puppy dreamland. Orville and Wilbur are lucky to be alive. Their sweet mama was killed on a highway as she tried to fend for her little family.

Wilbur has a funny habit at this foster home....sometimes he’ll stand under a taller dog when he’s eating, drinking or trying to grab a toy. His brother Orville does the same thing too. It must be a cute inherited trait from his parents. But, if that gets him his toys, he’s all in favor of it. Are you looking for two? If you are, he would love to have his brother Orville to grow up with. If not, it’s okay. He’s been around other dogs too and is fearless with big dogs. He’s happy to make friends with them or if they ignore him, Orville will happily taunt them with a bark in their face to entice a game of chase. He’s doing well with pottying outside but he’s still too young to be fully house-trained. Watch Wilber and his puppy friends here! https://youtu.be/vQUS9Qjri5s

Wilbur is an All-American Rescue pup, our best guess of breed is English Pointer. He was born approximately 4-1-18. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed.. Adoption fee is $475 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled after your application has been approved. Since all of our pets are in foster homes and not a facility, we hold adoption appointments once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday, during scheduled time period.
