PEACHES Flat-Coated Retriever & Shepherd Mix Lincoln, NE

Peaches is about as sweet as her name! She is a smart little pup who came from Oklahoma with her littermate, Smudge. Her beautiful black coat makes her resemble a little black bear cub. Peaches loves to be the first to check things out and first to the food bowl! When you have other puppies around, it’s best to arrive early. She loves to rough and tumble with big dogs, bigger puppies, or her little brother Smudge (watch her here! https://youtu.be/vQUS9Qjri5s). He doesn’t always appreciate it but he takes it in stride. Peaches loves stuffed animals and is starting to chase and pick up balls. Do we have a little retriever in the making? We don’t think so. We still think she looks too much like a little cub.

If you’re not facing Peaches when she wants to be petted, she’ll either bat at your back or she’ll just sneak up under your arm and climb into your lap. No invitation needed. She is happy to claim the people she likes. Peaches loves having all the attention she can get. And we can’t blame her. She’s in a house full of puppy boys! Oh, and this little tomboy can get herself a bit messy. She has no problems getting food crumbs all over her face and showing off…or dirt. This delightful little puppy has been around big dogs and cats and does just fine. She is doing well with going potty outside but is still too young to be fully house-trained.

Peaches is an All-American Rescue pup, our best guess of breeds is Flat-Coat Retriever with maybe some Shepherd. She was born approximately 3-15-18. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed.. Adoption fee is $475 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled after your application has been approved. Since all of our pets are in foster homes and not a facility, we hold adoption appointments once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday, during scheduled time period. We need ALL family members or those living within your home, to be present for an appointment. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference and home ownership, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records.
