Meet TOGO

Hey Yo! I'm Togo. Because I am part Husky, I was named after a famous sled-dog. He was known for his stamina, loyalty, and intelligence. My foster mom thinks I could be the same. I still have puppy energy and love to play with my foster sister who is also a Husky mix. I even did a good job of trying to play with my tiny foster siblings who are less than 6 pounds, but they aren't very playful. I do a good job of going to my kennel when my foster mom is at work and at nighttime. She is working with me on learning to 'sit'. I am treat motivated and like to please my foster mom which will help me learn new commands. I am doing a pretty good job with but sometimes just get nervous or excited. My foster mom says my foster sister was the same way, but she learned and so will I. I am very curious about squirrels. Because of that and my energy, I would really like to have a fenced yard. I might even make a good running/jogging partner as soon as I learn better leash skills. My foster mom isn't sure how I'd do with cats. Because I am curious and playful, I might chase them which some cats don't appreciate. I LOVE people and do well when meeting them. My foster mom thinks I would be a great best friend to a child I could grow up with. I think a family to love and play with sounds wonderful and can't wait to meet you!

Togo is a Husky/Kintamani Dog/mix (our best guess of breeds), weighs 45 lbs and was born approximately 5-14-17. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled after your application has been approved. Since all of our pets are in foster homes and not a facility, we hold adoption appointments once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday, during scheduled time period. We need ALL family members or those living within your home, to be present for an appointment. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference and home ownership, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records. If you are a renter, you must provide landlord contact information. For adoption guidelines and to submit an application, please go to this link: http://dollyslegacyanimalrescue.org/adopt/ You will receive a reply from adoptions@dollyslegacyanimalrescue.org within a few days of application submission, please make sure to check your spam folder if you do not see a reply within a week. We are a foster-home based rescue group and do not have a facility. We are 100% volunteer staff. All communication is done via email AFTER your application has been submitted. PLEASE be sure to answer all questions completely or it will delay processing, be sure to include vet phone#. If you have any questions please email adoptions@dollyslegacyanimalrescue.org .
