Temperament: gentle, well-tempered and family-oriented
This is beautiful, regal Marley. Marley has a very interesting background! He was born on the streets of Iran as a “street dog” and thankfully, rescued by a group who works to get the puppies of these street dogs into loving homes and literally, off of the streets! Marley was adopted by a loving family four years ago and brought to America to live, but unfortunately his family can no longer give him what he needs. Marley has been a gentle and sweet companion and is very obedient. He knows his basic commands of “come”, “sit” “down” and “stay”. Marley is a neutered, Saluki/Shepherd mix boy who weighs in at about 60 lbs. He is tall and thin like his Saluki side of the family. Marley’s family describes him as gentle, and well-tempered, family-oriented, and very eager to please his people. He is extremely affectionate and really prefers to be around his people as much as possible. At five years of age, he’s still playful and loves to chase or to be chased (be warned that he is very fast!). He loves to “play wrestle” and is very gentle with his playmates. He does not have experience with cats and although he is gentle with the toddler human he lives with, we think Marley would prefer a quieter home with older children or adults. Marley’s photos do NOT do him justice; to meet Marley is to truly fall in love with him!
Marley’s current family is looking for a loving home where he will be treated like family and given lots of love and attention.
