Dallas Terrier & Dachshund Mix Lodi, CA

Dallas is a 15 pound 14 week old Terrier possibly Dachshund mix. His brothers and sisters came to us when they had no where else to go. For the first 3 months of their lives the puppies had little to no human contact. They came to their foster home fearful and shaking. Today after alot of patience and love by their foster family this litter has gained some much needed confidence, they have been socialized with people and lots of other dogs and they are all doing great. They will continue to need patience and love by their new families. The world to them is still new, sometimes they get frightened by sounds and new things, and they want to try to run and hide. They will still need reassurance at times so they know they are safe. The puppies all love to play they are discovering toys and balls and seeing how much fun they are to squeak. All 6 are very bonded with each other, they love to run, chase and wrestle. They do great with other dogs when given the time to meet and feel comfortable with them. They like meeting new people, at first they will be shy, but they do warm up quickly. They love to be held, and like to be right by you. They will wonder off to explore but never too far away they like to stay close. Dallas is a super sweet boy. He is the biggest one of the group. Dallas is the protector of his brothers and sisters. When his siblings are scared or nervous they come to him for cuddles. He is a happy boy, he loves to play and run. But also loves to just sit at your feet and take in the sights. He is a snuggler and is quickly becoming a mommas boy to his foster mom.
Dallas is getting current on his vaccines and will be neutered and microchipped.
