HOOTie Patootie! Brussels Griffon & Terrier Mix Toluca Lake, CA

Meet Hoot, a 1-year-old Brussels Griffon/Terrier mix and our newest Rescue Train member. Hoot came aboard The Rescue Train when his family lost their home and he had nowhere to go.

Hoot is a real ladies man and loves to cuddle and give kisses to all the girls. He also loves men and is especially fascinated with facial hair – perhaps he can relate! Hoot has been doing really well with his housebreaking. This cutie loves to play with other dogs. He is currently fostered in a home with three other dogs and gets along with them all. He politely waits his turn for meals and treats. He walks well on a leash and struts his stuff when walking. While not formally trained, he does not pull but stays by your side, waits at the corner and greets other on the sidewalk. But this guy has a softer side as well - Hoot's a wise soul with a sweet disposition and loves to be held. If you're looking for a love bug, a lap dog, and serious eye candy, Hoot is your boy!

Hoot's great with small dogs and some gentle female larger dogs but is fearful of aggressive male larger ones. He would do best in a home with another dog similar in size and energy level. We also think he should be in a home with no small children (under 12) as he is still a puppy and has been known to “nibble” on fingers. Interested in HOOT Give us a HOLLER!
