Neeko Labrador Retriever Mount Enterprise, TX

Hi, my name is Neeko. I am currently located in East Texas about 30 miles north of Nacogdoches, TX. I originally lived in Houston, TX with my previous Human. My previous Human was a Hispanic man who did not have the funds to care for me. When I was about 9 months old, a rescue lady started helping my Human, Gustavo with anything I needed. This rescue lady first noticed me late on a Saturday as I tried hard to stay dry during a hard rain storm. She brought me a big dog house so that I would not be stuck out in the pouring rain again. She also convinced Gustavo to start letting me come into the house when it was too hot, too cold or storming. She also got me totally vaccinated, neutered, a much needed bath and a heart worm test which was negative. The rescue lady continued to get my vaccines each year, supplied us with heart worm and flea prevention, dog food and treats. In 2016, something happened to Gustavo, my Human and I was left alone, for 3 weeks. Some nice person called the rescue lady and told her my situation. She came and got me, bringing me to East Texas. She was never able to get any of the family to call her back or get in touch with Gustavo. So, I am ready to find a new human who will care for me and love me.

I am a great dog, the typical Black Lab. I get along better with smaller dogs. I had a friend for awhile that was a 25 pound male when I was in Houston. We played a lot and had a good time. I LOVE feeding time, I try to sit for my food but, I just can hardly contain myself. I also LOVE treats. I sometimes like to play fetch. I really LOVE to be petted and get attention. I LOVE kids but sometimes I am too much for the small kids. I will need to have a fenced yard at least 5 foot tall, 6 foot tall would be better.

You would need to fill out an Adoption Contract which would be emailed to you. A meet and greet will be set up for all of your family members, me and Penny. I will need a fenced yard to get a little exercise and to take care of business. I will need to be a primarily inside dog that is supervised when I am outside. I want to be a member of your family, not a yard ornament that is easily forgotten about.

I was vaccinated in May of 2018 and of course I am heart worm free.
