Haven Pit Bull Terrier Mix Manhattan, KS

Hi! My name is Haven, but my foster mom calls me Haven Leigh Wigglebottoms! She says I am always so happy to see my people that my whole body wiggles with excitement. I am a 3 year old pittie mix, spayed, and up to date on my shots. I am good with both big and small dogs, but I am not a fan of cats. I would also be good as an only dog because I just LOVE snuggles and attention, but I am learning to share attention very well so I would be okay if you already have dogs. I am kennel and potty trained, and my foster mom is teaching me all kinds of new tricks. Within two weeks I have learned sit, stay, lay, wait, touch, and spin! I am even learning not to go through doors until my foster mom says I can. Mom says I am just so smart and am always looking to her for commands and decision making. She is also training me as a running dog, and says I am doing really well, but that I still pull a little.

Mom also wanted me to tell you that I should go to a family who is willing to continue my training and is used to handling Wiggly-bottomed House Hippos. I crave training and structure, so I would really love to have that in my forever home. Don’t worry, though, mom says I am a fast learner and want nothing more than to please my people. Oh, and I absolutely LOVE kids. I have been sleeping with my six year old human sister and am gentle with her, and she loves all of my kisses!

Mom says I'm getting used to the finer things in life, so it's best to feed me separately from other pets. I am finally learning that I don't have to live life like a stray anymore, but sometimes I forget how good it is now!
