Butter Great Pyrenees & Saint Bernard Mix McKinney, TX

Butter is 8-9 week old female Great Pyrenees/St. Bernard mix weighing 20 pounds. She will be a very large girl, probably around 100 pounds once she is fully grown. She came to us in very poor condition with over 200 fleas and over 50 ticks on her poor little body. She is currently very underweight, but we have changed her diet to quality dog food and increased the amount. She has visited the veterinarian and received her first round of puppy shots. Her stool results shows that she does not have any worms. Butter is a joy to be around and is still very quiet for a puppy. We are hoping that changes soon once she feels safe and secure. She has spent her entire life outside. Here are St. Cloud’s Rescue we are going to make sure Miss Butter learns what love in and will never have to want for food or shelter. In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. This is due to the large size of Saint Bernards and the safety of your children. Our Saint Bernards are not aggressive or mean in any way, they can just knock down children easily. St. Cloud Rescue is a non-profit 501-c-3 organization. St. Clouds Rescue requires new owners to purchase a one year supply of heartworm preventative from us, which is at cost. We require a home visit prior to all placements. All our dogs must be microchipped at a cost of $20.00. There is a $200.00 donation fee. All dogs adopted through St Clouds Rescue must be indoor pets. Saints can not tolerate the Texas heat.
