Lana Dachshund & Chihuahua Mix Salem, OR

Lana is looking for a lap. Lana is a 5 years old, spayed female. She is a Chihuahua Dachshund mix. Lana is a cuddle-bug. She's happy to be in your lap all day long. If she can't be in your lap, she'll settle for a warm comfy couch or chair. If there's a blanket on it, even better. She loves tummy rubs when you're holding her and she feels safe.

She loves to go on car rides and gets very excited when you say "let's go for a ride!" She doesn't really know commands but she does know "C'mon" and "kisses" when she's in your lap. She's ok with "sit" but not consistently.

She pays no attention to other animals, unless it's at the food bowl. She doesn't like to share. She likes to soak up the sun on a really warm day but has no real interest in being outside otherwise. She does fine on a leash but if it's not nice outside (sunny and 80) you might have a battle getting her out there.

She can be stubborn, especially when it comes to going outside to do her business. She is best suited in a house with no children, with someone who is home much of the day.
