Rooster Siberian Husky Sparta, WI

Meet Rooster! Rooster is a male Siberian Husky that is approximately 1 year old and ready for his new forever home! Rooster came to us as a stray, so we are unsure of what his life was like prior to this. What we've learned so far is that Rooster is happy, friendly, bouncy, playful, and still a pup! He loves romping around with other dogs, and like most huskies his age, he's got lots of energy! Also true to his breed, he makes a fantastic running partner! If you've never owned a husky before, we highly recommend doing lots of research on the breed if you are interested in adopting him. He needs secure containment whenever he's outside, as huskies are professional escape artists, are very intelligent and LOVE to go on adventures! The safest way to provide them with that is to go on adventures together! This could include running, hiking, biking, play time, etc. (or even going to doggy daycare!) He's also still in a bit of a puppy phase when it comes to chewing...he likes to shred his blankets at the shelter (we're sure he has a blast doing that!) but because of this, it would be best to contain Rooster in a large kennel or a safe room of his own in his new home until you know he's trustworthy in your home unsupervised. Rooster's ideal home would be with a family that has time to devote to plenty of exercise, training, and love. Huskies are fun, happy, energetic, intelligent, stubborn, playful, and affectionate. Rooster is vaccinated and will be neutered prior to adoption. His adoption fee is $110.00
