Daisy(CP) Rhodesian Ridgeback Dallas, TX

Daisy is an 13 months (approx.) old 65 lb. Rhodesian Ridgeback / Boxer mix. She was
purchased online as a very small pup and kept outside where she spent most of her days alone
and had zero interaction with other animals. After her owners were displaced, she was bound
for the local animal shelter before she was taken in by her foster family. She is now an indoor
dog steadily learning the boundaries of indoor living with two fur foster sisters. She is still
acclimating to her new environment and can become quite anxious, and although this causes
her to nip at times, she’s never hurt anyone. It is taking time for Daisy to learn to be around
other dogs, but she is growing in this area every day and enjoys play time with her sisters. She
absolutely loves being outside chasing and catching tennis balls, and chewing on her favorite
toys while lying out in the sun. Daisy does very well in her crate, and is easily coaxed into it with
a treat. She also sleeps in it peacefully through the night. Once she’s in the crate, just throw a
blanket over it and she knows it’s time for bed! She is so eager to please her humans and has
already learned to sit, stay and shake hands!
She would do best with an active family as a single dog or with other dogs her size or
larger as she can be very rambunctious. If shown kindness, patience, and love, no one will be
more loyal to you than Daisy! Please consider opening up your home and heart to her.
