Simon. Such a wonderful fella. He started life here, in my daughter's closet. He was the only tuxedo in a litter of black suits. And he sported a "Half-stache" which became his nickname. He is a playful boy and is very good to the other cats and the dog. He likes to sleep with us and he enjoys playing just about any game you can come up with. He is the very last of the litter to be adopted. We are surprised because the black cats are usually difficult to place... but ours are all in very good homes! His brother, Benjamin, lives here with him... and was adopted by my roommate. His mom still lives here, too. She was a stray cat that became pregnant. We usually take all strays in to have them fixed... but this one was so obviously pregnant that we had a change of heart. And we are so glad we did! The babies were born August 1st. They have been a joy. We had to bottle raise them for most of their small lives... mom did not have enough milk. But that made them extra sweet. And Simon is very sweet. He is smart too! A very tender cat, he is tactile and will use his paws to hold and touch you. But he is so gentle about it most times. It really is precious. He is awaiting the right family to come meet him. We know they wont be disappointed!
