Meet Aengdu
Age: 2 years
Weight: 25 pounds
Rescue: Aengdu was rescued from the dog meat trade in Korea by Save Korean Dogs, our rescue partner based in South Korea. She and a group of her friends were flown stateside to The Barking Lot in April 2018. She tested heartworm positive shortly after she arrived, and has been undergoing treatment the last several months. Aengdu is a total trooper (heartworm treatment is very painful), and emerged on the other side with a clean bill of health as of September 2018!
Temperament: Sweet, loving, curious, affectionate and engaging. Aengdu may seem a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly. Extend her a hand and she'll plant a few gentle kisses. Aengdu goes to the bathroom as soon as she is taken out on grass and she gets along well with all other dogs!
