Meet MAXIMUS
MAXIMUS is a mixed breed Norwich Terrier. He's estimated by our vet to be about 3 years old and weighs 16 pounds.
Max came into our care after we heard that someone dumped him at a vet's office in Brooklyn where he was living in a cage for almost a year. Sure he was walked here and there but he was never properly socialized or put on a housebreaking schedule.
But that hasn't set him back any! Max is doing great with all the dogs in his foster home, both big and small. And he's getting the lay of the land when it comes to using the bathroom outside. Max does guard his dog bed and food bowl so we will not be able to place Max in a home with children under the age of 12.
Like any dog, Max will need some time to adjust to his new home and when he does you will have the very best friend you could have dreamed of. A loyal, sweet and fun-loving small dog. Perfect for an apartment or a house!
