ADOPTED ON 05-05-18: Mosley is a six month old Flat Coat Retrieve / Gordon Setter mix. This handsome guy loves the water and loves to plays ball with Baxter. The foster in the south said they play very well together. He had a Bravecto flea and tick shot and is good till June 11, 2018, HW negative and UPD on his HW meds given monthly. Mosley is scheduled to be neutered on April 16th and he will then get his third DHLPP vaccination but then he will be ready to come up. He will be coming to Connecticut soon,

This boy is all things puppy wrapped up in stunning silky hair; the Gordon Setters can range from 45 to 80 lbs. The fact that our Mosley is a six month old puppy tells you just about everything you need to know; if it is wet he rolls in it, if it is muddy he rolls in it, if it smells he rolls in it and if it runs he rolls after it. He is alert, confident and affectionate. The Gordon setter breed is a loyal dog devoted to family members. Mosley can adapt easily to different situations but might not do not do well with long periods of isolation or being crated for long periods of time. Mosley is smart, he is great with children and other pets.

Mosley is a laugh a minute, always into something, always fascinated by the birds and butterflies, always happy and always loving. So far we have not been able to identify anything that this happy boy does not like in the world of humans and the world of dogs. Just watching him run is a show in itself, all legs moving but in different directions, his gait resembles something like a cross between sumo wrestler and a duck, here we just call Mosley’s running the Mosley two step. We have found Mosley to be very gentle for a young pup, always loving and trying to get attention and with his personality who cares.

If you're looking for a best friend and family dog who will want to be with you all the time, lovingly and adoringly and can show you instantly how much that attention from you means to him, don’t look any further, apply for Mosley today, he won’t last long. As his pictures relay, he's gentle, sweet, and utterly a loyal companion---he is one of a kind. We don’t see many like him, that is why we love him and so will you.

ABOUT OUR RESCUE
These dogs deserve all of our attention, and in Rescue Dog Village, we are committed to our adopters and our dogs equally. We offer full disclosure and hope to make the best matches possible. Please know our adoption donations never cover our expenses. We rely on the generosity of our adopters and supporters to help us help the dogs.

Our rescue is ONLY in the business of offering FULL DISCLOSURE to adopters, and expects and hopes to engage your questions and concerns fully. We owe it to the dogs we rescue and all the wonderful families/adopters who might consider welcoming our charges into their hearts and home. Our dogs are waiting for that ideal forever home where they will be cherihed as deserving family members. It's sad these second chances are even necessary for these dogs, but we are committed to them and will devote the time and energy to their re-homing, and not just MOVE them to save more dogs. We diligently and responsibly seek good matches, as we don't want to re-home the dog again. These animals have already endured more than they should have, and through no fault of their own. It behooves us to be honest and forthright, and we appreciate the same in return from applicants. It's that winning combination of reciprocal trust and respect that allows for successful placements to be made. Happy adopters translate to happy dogs, and that's our goal!

Our rescue volunteers will be more than honored to be in touch with you directly and promptly, after receiving your application and conducting a mandatory a veterinarian check. If you have never owned a dog before, please submit your application regardless, and we will be in touch with you as soon as possible. TAKE NOTE YOU SHOULD CHECK YOUR SPAM AS SOME RESPONSES FROM US WIND UP THERE WE'VE DISCOVERED. Also, take care to contact your veterinarian to let them know a member of rescue will be inquiring about your pet history!
