Darla Coonhound & Vizsla Mix Sautee Nacoochee, GA

This 5 month old pup is already a big girl. She is very active and not happy with her confinement in a kennel. She will stand upright on her back legs with a a bit of a dance move both to get a better view and perhaps to entice visitors to come get acquainted. She is good with dogs,cats and kids BUT she cannot have access to chickens. We anticipate she will be a solid good sized girl. Primarily Coonhound but has some features of the Viszla . A secure fenced yard is required for her adoption. She arrived on March 29, 2018. More photos in Comments below. Adoption fee $100. Willow has been dewormed and has age appropriate vaccines. A certificate is provided for spay and rabies vaccine by our local servicing vet when of age at 6 months old. Adoption policies and application procedures are detailed at the website. Adoption of all dogs/cats requires an approval process to ensure that they are going into a home suitable for their needs and committed to their care and safety. The process typically takes 1-3 days. Each is placed with same due diligence that they would be given if they were our own furry family members. Adopters who are not within the local area of the shelter MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. Meeting approved adopters is one of the final steps in the adoption process. We do not permit transport or shipping of our residents without the adopter in attendance
Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter which provides quality care, spay/neuter-all vaccines, deworming, vet exam, standard disease testing and for dogs-monthly heart worm prevention treatment. Resident animals are owner relinquished and also accepted from local Animal Control. The shelter is not permitted by GA law to accept strays. The facility is usually operating at capacity with a list of animals approved for intake waiting for space to open.
Adoption hours are Tues-Sat 10-4 and Sun 1-4. Closed Mondays
