Meet Cadbury & Chick Pea
These two adorable girls came to Wisconsin House Rabbit Society all the way from Las Vegas! They and hundreds of other rabbits were rescued from a very unfortunate situation. For many years rabbits have been dumped on a few properties throughout the city and left to fend for themselves. Concerned people brought food for them and they multiplied as rabbits do. Now the government is threatening to get rid of the rabbits, so rescue organizations are doing their best to catch as many as they can and transport them to rescues all over the nation and Canada.
Cadbury & Chick Pea are two young girls, likely just under a year old. They are petite girls and have beautiful fur. They are spayed and litter box trained. They have always lived with other rabbits and therefore must be adopted together.
Since these two girls were born and grew up outside, they've had to adjust to a whole new living environment as well as humans. Understandably, they are somewhat shy, but are adjusting well. They just need some time and a somewhat quiet environment to learn to trust. Once they're settled and feel comfortable in their new home their personalities will blossom!
