Meet Tina (PA)

Little Tina was found wandering on a highway by herself In New Jersey. She was brought to the Atlantic County Humane Society. She was put on hold for two weeks, but no one came to claim her. She was neglected, had bad teeth, and a large growth on her belly. She was rescued by Crest-Care, Chinese Crested Rescue and her life has since changed. All of her medical issues were addressed and taken care of. She is ready to go to her forever home.

Tina is between 3 and five years old. We’re not really sure because she was surrendered as a stray. Her personality is guarded and she does get upset when she meets new people. She hides. Foster mom let her meet new people on her terms and leave her alone until she is ready. She eventually comes around and will let you pet her. We attribute to her not being socialized and believe that she is just scared. She is not aggressive in any way. In the home she is loving, friendly and a sweetheart who just wants to be loved. Tina lives with one other dog and would prefer a home with no more than 2 dogs. Not sure about cats.

She bonds quickly to her family, although it did take a week or so for her to settle in. A patient or experienced home with no children would be best; a home with retires would be her dream home. A very quiet and stable home is what she needs.

House trained and pad trained.
Requires a fenced yard.
Tina can be left by herself for up to six hours.
Tina cannot go into a crate under any circumstance. She throws her body and screams if crated. She has free run of the house here and has not disturbed anything. She lies on the sofa and looks out the window most of the day.
Tina walks well on a leash. She could use a little additional training.
Tina’s favorite food is frozen green beans.
Tina is being fostered in Langhorne PA
Up to date on shots - Micro Chipped - Spayed
