ADOPTION FEE $250 Are you a Game of Thrones fan? Khaleesi may be the girl for you. She is a red and rust female Doberman with docked tail and natural ears who is approximately 4 years old. Khaleesi came to GDR from a local shelter where she'd been turned in by her owner. Her people were recently divorced, one couldn't take her and the other didn't have time for her. To say that she's had a sedentary lifestyle prior to coming into rescue may be an understatement. She is overweight but that doesn't stop her from running around and playing. She can play fetch and chase tennis balls for hours. But, if left alone and bored she will dig holes in the yard. Khaleesi is a sweet girl, well mannered in the house, and loves cuddling with her people. She wants and deserves all the attention you can give her. Khaleesi gets along well with other dogs, is cat curious, and great with children over 10 years old. She is up-to-date on her vaccinations, spayed, negative for internal parasites and heartworms.
