Meet Ruby
Ruby came to ADOPT from Chicago Animal Care and Control. She was born about 3/21/16.
Ruby was picked up by Chicago Animal Control when a concerned citizen reported seeing her and a feline friend (Tita) in her yard.
Although Ruby was initially a little shy, it didn't take her anytime to warm up to staff. Ruby has a beautiful medium length coat that has the look of a long haired cat without all the grooming. Like any lady, she is good about keeping her fur clean and well groomed.
Although we don't yet know how well she will do with other cats or dogs, she will probably be ok with other cats and may be fine with dogs.
Ruby will be fine with children who know how to respect her. Once she feels comfortable with her people, she is a very affectionate lady who would probably make a great lap cat.
