Meet Sullivan, 1 yr old, must have another playful dog + secure yard
Sullivan lived in a breeding facility as he wasn't sold when his littermates were.
He was born November 2017.
We got him Feb 20/2018.
The day he was to go to our vet in March, the 28th, he had 2 seizures that morning and 4 more that day at vet - vet felt it was from a toxin - we did two types of bloodwork, and iv, and an xray. The bill was close to $700.
In August he had more seizures over a weekend and was put on phenol-barbital meds - 2x a day.
Since then he has had none.
Sullivan is suspected to have epilepsy and takes meds daily.
He came in to our care to learn about life in a home environment - HE IS FOSTERED IN LUCKNOW.
He is fostered with other dogs of various sizes - he is excellent with all other dogs.
He appears to have some sight deficits.
Vets say one eye responds to light (appears he can see shapes) and other is possibly juvenile cataract.
He hears well.
He loves playing with other dogs.
He needs a playful dog in the home he is adopted to.
He needs a secure yard - no tie out, as he is easily confused on leash in new situations.
He will go the bathroom in a fenced yard.
He was neutered at about 6 months of age on May 25th.
He was also vaccinated and microchipped.
His adoption fee is $650 to cover a portion of his expenses .

Once we review your application then your family and existing dog can come and meet and see if he is the match you are looking for.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
We do require a fully completed adoption application in order to agree to meet you in the foster's home - this is to ensure the dog is a plausible match for you and vice versa *You and your family as well as any existing dog(s) in your home will come and meet the dog*
A home visit is set up after meeting the dog and this meeting is done by a rescue volunteer from your area
If all goes well then we will set up an adoption date - at which time you will bring a leash and a tag with your information on it to put on with our rescue tag to ensure someone is called right away if the dog is at large
PLEASE NOTE -
We are a foster based rescue and our dogs are in various locations in foster homes.
Viewings are arranged with our foster volunteers, around their rescue work, regular paying jobs and family and are only offered to an approved applicant so as not to waste anyone's time.
We do not do same day adoptions and we only adopt within the province of Ontario
We do not deliver dogs. If and once the adoption process is approved and complete the dog must be picked up at the foster home.
