Hi, My name is Rocky! I met my friends from Love of Labs after a really nice human rescued me on Rockville Rd. They said I was thrown out of a moving vehicle and saved from oncoming traffic, but I am way too happy and friendly to worry about any of that stuff! I’m about 11 months old and a tiny little guy. I guess my old family didn’t know how much to feed me, because my ribs were showing and I had lost a lot of fur from malnutrition. Now I’m ‘big’ (I gained 8lbs my first week with LOLIN!) and weigh a very petite 45lbs. I think they call me a micro-lab, because I probably won’t get much bigger.

I love playing with my LOlN foster sister (even if she doesn’t always love playing with me) and I’ve gotten along with all the dogs I’ve met so far. I have lots of puppy energy and not to brag but I’m very athletic. I love humans the most, especially when they’re feeding me, teaching me to sit, fetch, or walk on a leash- and most of all when we’re cuddling on the couch. Did I mention I like to cuddle? As much as I like to run around, I am happiest whenever I’m close to my humans, because cuddling is my favorite.

I’m really smart, and am mostly housebroken and even learned to ring a bell to go out just from watching my foster sister. But since this whole living with a family thing is still new to me, every once in a while I forget to tell them I have to go out. Sometimes when I meet new people, I get soooo excited...that I piddle (but don’t tell the other dogs, it’s a little embarrassing). Once I’m in a consistent environment with some TLC and some training, I’ll be better I promise! I just want to love on my humans and make them happy, so I’ll learn all these new things in no time!
