Meet Furby
Furby is a sweet, gentle little girl who looks like a Cairn terrier. She is between 1 & 2 years old and weighs 12 pounds. We aren't sure yet if she's outside trained (it's been so cold and wet!) but she does use pee pads. Furby is shy with people at first and needs time to get to know you before showing affection. She likes to play with her toys and with other dogs. Furby has the type of coat that requires regular trimming and has been to the groomer a few times, so we know she's ok with being groomed. Her groomer thinks she's a purebred Cairn terrier, but other people say she looks like a Yorkie. Come meet her for yourself and see what you think!
Furby's foster mom says "Furby has gotten used to the routines of the house, especially at night. When it is bedtime all the dogs run to the bedroom to get their dental sticks. Furby uses the steps to get up on the bed and takes her spot next to my pillow for the night. Whoever adopts her has to know that they have to be gentle with her, because she is still learning." Furby would do best in an all adult home, ideally with another small dog to play with.
Furby's adoption fee of $350 includes physical exam, DHAPP (distemper combo vaccination), Bordetella and Rabies vaccinations, flea/tick control, routine deworming, heartworm test (neg.) and heartworm preventative, microchip, and spay. Detailed vetting information is available upon request and provided at adoption.
