Meet Jax

Jax is a 3 year old, 15 lb, neutered male American Eskimo who came to us from Wichita, KS. He has lived in a home with cats and kids, is crate/leash-trained, and playful, rambunctious, and active. He loves toy and balls and squirrels. Jax can be shy and skeptical when meeting strangers - he warms up quickly and becomes friendly, lovable, and playful. Although he tolerates cats, Jax really wants to be an ONLY dog - he is very alpha and dog-aggressive and has gotten into a few scrapes. He simply doesn't want to share his humans and wants them all to himself! Because he is so smart and driven, we DO NOT recommend Jax for an inexperienced Eskimo owner. He is athletic, smart and driven and might very well be a good sport dog prospect - he would love a job working to please his owner(s)!

The adoption donation is $300, and includes a general vet exam, neuter surgery, heartworm testing and/or treatment (as necessary), shots, microchip, and worming. Experienced dog ownership and credible vet references are required in order to adopt from HER.
