Meet Avelon
This very sweet purebred 7 year old spayed/ declawed cat needs to be rehomed due to allergy issues. She has been in a loving home her entire life. She is very friendly, loves to sit in your lap and purr. She has good potty habits and because she is declawed and has never been around other animals or young kids, we want her to go to a quieter pet free home.
She is a brown mackeral tabby.
She is not hypoallergenic and that is the reason she's being rehomed. Her owner has recently developed an allergic reaction to her. Breeders claim that this breed is hypoallergenic but this case surely does not support that claim.
The best way to lessen the allergic reaction to cats is to feed them a complete raw diet. This will help more than anything but is still no guarantee.
Avelon is in the rehoming program of Blue Sky Rescue of Mn, a 501c3 rescue that screens all applicants.
