Wookie! Chinese Crested Dog Mix Reinbeck, IA

Please Read All Information on Wookie Before Inquiring. Wookie is a Chinese Crested mix, he is approx 8lbs and approx 6 years old.
He was owned by an elderly lady and was pretty isolated in his life so is wary of strangers and prefers women over men. After given a few days to settle in at his foster home, he warmed up to the lady, still wary of the man and the young boy who came over, but not aggressive.

Within a week he became a lap dog and can be picked up and handled well by the lady.
Gets along with other pets. Been neutered now. Uses puppy pads and goes outdoors too, he seems to pick and choose. He only has hair on his legs/feet and head/neck/tail like a crested but is a mix.

Looking for a safe, indoor adult only home who will give him the time and patience needed to settle in. Secure fenced yard preferred. A quieter home that maybe has another small, sweet dog that is social if possible but not required.
He can get to barking with strangers but we've been consistent on correcting that and it's improved 50% already.
The little guy was pretty lost and sad when he got to Agape Fosters as he was getting moved from place to place. He has a ton to offer a proper home. He's sure a cutie and very sweet and loyal when he warms up. Likes to lay at your feet or in your lap.
