Meet Darth Vader

Darth Vader is one of the pooches from our Star Wars gang, found dumped and starving in a cornfield. These poor little dogs were so terrified of humans that it took weeks before we were able to safely capture all of them. They were covered in fleas and had huge, engorged ticks all over their fragile bodies. It was clear they had never been treated with kindness by people, and they took a great deal of convincing that they were finally surrounded by love and comfort. Time and patience from caregivers and volunteers helped win the trust of this adorable group of dogs, and they are now sweet and loving as can be. Our hearts rejoice when we see them playing at recess time, zipping and zooming like they have never had a care in the world. Darth Vader is super cute with his floppy ears and lanky legs, and he adores the company of the other little dogs. He will make a fine family friend.
