Henry Chihuahua & Pomeranian Mix Hillsboro, OR

Henry came to us with his son, Karl, who has been adopted. He is a bit shy until he gets to know you, takes about 2 weeks. Changes are very scary for him and he doesn't like a lot of people around him. Playing with Karl would bring out the little tough guy in him, but now that Karl has been adopted he is opening up to his foster siblings. He is learning to trust again and is doing very well. He bonds quickly to 1 person. He plays well with other small dogs, don't know about cats. When he gets scared he needs a safe haven like an open door crate or an X-Pen so he can feel safe and secure. He would do best with an older family and maybe another small dog. He is slowly learning to walk on a leash. but with his tiny legs your normal walk will make him run.
