Meet Atlas

I’m Atlas, a male, white Miniature Schnauzer Mix (maybe with some Westie) who is about three years old and weighs about sixteen pounds with natural ears and tail. I was just rescued from a shelter and my new SRT friends spent some time today giving me a great spa day. Although I can’t tell what happened to me, my friends suspect I was bitten by a dog and have an injury on my neck. Not to worry though, I had surgery and am trying to get over the trauma of that dog bite. I’m a quiet car rider and really do like people. I’m not leash trained yet, and am very fearful of being hurt by having a leash on me. My wonderful foster mom, who bought me lots of wonderful toys and lets me watch TV on the couch, is going to spend some time with a trainer to help me so I won’t be so afraid.
