Lucy Doberman Pinscher & Shepherd Mix Hawkestone, ON

Lucy is a 5 year old Doberman mix who is looking for her forever home! She is a special needs girl because she is mostly deaf - when she came to us she had chronically infected ears that had been left untreated for years. As a result of this she had to have surgery with a specialist to remove both ear canals. She has fully recovered now and doing wonderfully - she's ready to find her forever home!

Lucy is looking for an active, adult only home that has some dog experience. She would be best as the only pet in the home. Lucy is crate trained, housetrained and walks nicely on leash. She knows many commands and is very smart and eager to please! Lucy is trained on a vibration collar so that you can get her attention if she doesn't hear you, she has done extremely well with her training and all of this information (plus the collar) will be passed on to her new home when she's adopted.

Lucy is a super sweet girl who loves affection. She takes time to warm up to new people and once she does, she's your best friend. She loves "her people" and is a truly wonderful dog to be around.
